Idiopathic Jaw Pain- Thinking Outside the TMJ

Jaw pain is the 2nd most common musculoskeletal pain complaint right behind lower back pain. In this talk presented by Dr Jason Piken you will learn about the relationship between the jaw, neck muscles, posture, inflammation and how they all contribute to this common problem. You will also learn the best approaches to helping your patients to get better. Light food and refreshments will be served.

Objectives

  1. Identify causes of jaw pain outside of TMJ
  2. Make initial RX to our patients for home care
  3. Choose the appropriate referral score to help my patients feel better
